From this snap diagnosis you are a great candidate for my breakthrough SHIFT ACCELERATOR PROGRAM. It is designed for someone like you who wants results fast, but also insists that the shift goes deep and is lasting.
Right now there’s something you want to change; a habit, a thought pattern, a situation at work or in your personal life… but you’ve got stuck. What's worked for you in the past isn't working any more and you're ending up going round in circles. The funny thing is others may look at your life and just see the good stuff, but you know things can be even better, and you want that.
To jumpstart your progress you need to get really clear on your motivation for change. Part of that involves the courage to imagine how your life would look in 6 mths, a year, 3 yrs time if you don't make this shift. Write it all out without your pen leaving the paper so you don't edit yourself. Now you get to the good bit. What will the future look like once you have successfully made that shift? How will you feel? When was the last time you felt something similar...even in a small way? Search for that memory and bring it to life with details. Exaggerate that feeling until you experience it not just in your head, but in your body. Already you are creating a road-map in your mind to start the process of reaching your goal.
Congratulations! You have taken your first step toward change.
The snap diagnosis points toward HYPNOSIS as being the best approach for you. Hypnosis is a versatile tool that is relaxing and safe. It is an altered state of awareness that we experience many times each day. Used therapeutically it can be trained to work as a sort of personal GPS to guide you toward your goal.
Right now you know you are great at working things through in your head, but that hasn't cracked the problem. Hypnotherapy makes the most of ALL of your resources because it harnesses the powerful intelligence of your unconscious mind. And it achieves this in a relaxed, effortless way.
This approach is the best suited for you to get unstuck from your issue.
Right now this exercise will jump-start the process of change. I can teach you how to do self-hypnosis, but for now let's access that 'trancy' relaxed state through this simple exercise.
Find a comfortable place to sit, feet connecting with the ground, back comfortably straight. Set a timer for 5 minutes. Now, rest your eyes on a point in front of you and pay close attention to all the details. It could be a light-switch, or a mug. Anything will do. Be precise, look for as many details as you can, light and shade, shape, texture, colour. Now allow your gaze to soften and broaden so the shapes go fuzzy and slightly out of focus. Breathe in deeply through your nose, allowing your chest to rise and fall, and allow time to slow down. Gently close your eyes. Breathe normally, and as you exhale count "1" inside your head, then "2" as you inhale, and so on until you reach 5. When you reach "5" start again and repeat. Stay focused on your breath as much as possible, and if your mind wanders (it will!), just bring it back to the counting. And if you lose count, or go beyond 5, simply bring it back to "1". This simple technique will enhance focus, and effortlessly calm your mind.
You are someone who is self-aware, curious about many things, and open to possibilities. You know there is so much more for you, but it feels frustratingly out of reach.
You've been circling around this particular issue for a while now, and tried many things.
Others probably look at your life and only see the good stuff, but you know things could be even better.
You are great at working things through in your head, but in this instance that isn't enough to shift the thing that means so much to you. You have powerful internal resources waiting to be unlocked. A combination of COACHING AND HYPNOSIS is most likely best for you.
For now try this to get into a 'flow state' and see if that shifts how you think about the issue. Devote 10-15 minutes of your day to doing something that engages other parts of your mind. Something that is a bit more playful but holds your attention.
When in a 'flow state' our mind mellows out. We tend to lose track of time, and whatever was on our mind before shifts and changes. You simply can't think about something in the same way when you have changed your emotional state by being in flow.
